FTP Programs was the software company founded by James van Bokkelen, John Romkey (author of the MIT PC/IP pack), Nancy Connor, James's married woman, & Dave Bridgham. It was a 1st of several corporations to title themselves fallowing an Internet protocol. Their independent product was PC/TCP, the good-featured, standards-compliant TCP/IP package for DOS. It was built on top the TSR kernel, which itself (initially) utilized built-integral drivers, and (afterwards) TSR packet drivers. A company got a good redo, however may not produce a transition to Windows. One of these days, it were bought out by NetManage.
